FS: Brooks Brothers Suit and Sportcoat 37R

Ok, my first SF selling attempt. For your consideration, a Brooks Brothers suit and sportcoat, both 37R. First, the suit. This is a brand new, with tags, unaltered Brooks Brothers suit. The suit bares the "MAKERS BROOKSEASE" label. These suits retail for about $600, if I'm not mistaken. The material is a beautiful blue and black micro-check (I'm not sure what it's actually called...), and everything is in perfect condition. Actually there are two exceptions: First, there's a very small mark at the bottom of the unhemmed pants, which could be easily cleaned off if you require a 36" inseam. It will otherwise be cut off when the pants are finished. Second, there is a small red line through the Brooks Brothers label on the back of the collar to prevent return. Other than that, the suit is perfect. Jacket is a 37R and fits true to size. The sleeves are unfinished, and the buttons are in a pouch in the jacket pocket. Nice pick-stitching. The pants are a 31" waist, true to size, and are unhemmed. Double pleats. I'm asking $150 --> $130 shipped in the continental U.S. Contact me if you live somewhere exciting, and we can figure it out. Now the jacket. Also brand new, with tags. The material is sort of a checked seersucker that I would say is cream and dark grey. It's half-lined. The sleeves on this one came finished. Paper tag on the sleeve is still present. The breast pocket is open (it was open when I got it), but this is SF and we all wear pocket squares. I'm asking $50 --> $40 SOLD shipped in the continental U.S., with exotic shipping quotes available at request. This is good stuff, and I would be keeping it for myself if I weren't more of a 36R. I feel 90% sure that I'm measuring these incorrectly, but here's what I got:


Both jackets yielded the same measurements.

Sleeves (from shoulder seam): 24.5"
Pit-to-pit (across the back): 19.5"
Shoulders (seam-to-seam across the back): 18"

Pants total length: 47"
Crotch seam to end: 36.5"
Waist measured flat: 15.5"

I've had a number of people interested in both. I can ship today if I receive payment in the next 2-3 hours. If not, I'll be able to get them out next Monday (until then: NOLA for JazzFest!).

Sportcoat is sold. Suit remains!
