Terminator Salvation

Not out yet, but boy did the preview look awesome. I am very pumped for this. They have legit acting (Christian Bale) and a legit superhotty (Moon Bloodgood). On top of that, the premise looks very cool and the series can finally move on post-Arnold (see the Terminator 3 gaffe).

I'm not a fanboy of sci-fi at all, but ever since seeing the original Terminator as a kid and getting the shit scared out of me, I've been a big fan. Anyone else looking forward to this?

It's rated PG-13, which is one big fail. It might not be as great as we thought it would.

T2 was still the best. nothing can get more iconic than T-1000 played by Robert Patrick for pure evil.

T3 wasn't terrible by any means but it was no T2. Watching the trailer gave me that Shadow of Colossus-feeling. Will definitely check it out in theaters.

From what I read, the director said the studio told them to make the movie they wanted to make and not worry about the rating. If PG-13 is what it came out to, that's that. I'm not worried about the content suffering.

One thing that sucked is that they were considering including a Moon Bloodgood topless scene (which she wanted in the film), but it is unclear whether or not it will be included. The rating makes me think that it won't be.

Huh...I thought T3 was a much better movie than T2. I just didn't like Edward Furlong, and some of the writing was pretty schlocky. And yes, I'm looking forward to T4.

It has too much violence to have tits. So it goes. You can either have no violence or cussing and get 25 seconds of Kate Winslet's tits, or blood and gore splattered across the screen.

Good. Honestly, I get so sick of studios sticking pointless love/erotic scenes and story lines into movies that clearly don't need them (see: Lord of the Fucking Rings). If I want to see tits, I have the internet, so leave my manly action movies alone!

It seems like she went through the same thought process and thought they should be included. I agree.

QFT. T2 was the best one. But I am looking forward to this one. The special effects look incredible in the previews.

I don't understand how they can do a terminator movie without Arnold.

^ Don't quote me on this but apparently he might make an appearance in some form or another.
