kix - we're going to be using all denim that's available at Self Edge.

warren - we made the SL in black selvedge last year, and will probably be making more pretty soon as soon as we confirm our next fabric shipment.

Sorry for bringing this up again. I am thinking of ordering the ST-100X and would like to achieve the fit closer to the pictures from selfedge rather than the one posted by ajchen. Does that require me to size down one or two? I am a true 34" waist.

Also, what's the deal about the 3sixteen X selfedge contest? I tried searching the forum and kiya's thread but couldn't find any info.

I'd just go down one size, get a size 33.
We're posting info about the contest within the next day or two..

The denim and price look great, but what is up with the slightly flared hem on the "slim" jean? It seems like a strange cut for such a slim jean.

Was wondering the same thing. The pics on Self Edge looked kinda bootcut... Maybe it just doesn't taper that much?

^ According to the measurements, there is a slight flare.

Exactly - take a look at our fit pics of the ST's on the last page... you can see that there's really no flare.

How much did he size down? Fit looks spot on.

ahjota - thanks for posting that! one item of note that the denim will not be part of the sample sale, as it's not seasonal. we have a few pairs from Lot 001 present, but it will be at full retail price.

hope to see some of you there...

Will longer inseams be available in the denim in future runs?
