3sixteen Denim Series, Bracelets, Shirts... - Page 2

Denim looks real nice. I just got some KMWs 1980s, so I'm not really hurting for another pair of denim, but I might have to give the straight legs a whirl down the road.

Also really liking the double leather bracelet.

In case people are wondering about sizing for the SL-100x: kiya suggests going true to size. I sized down 2 on mine to a size 30. After about a month of wear, the waist stretched out to 32". Fit is similar to Sidney's fit in the model photos. ***EDIT*** Mine are from Lot 001. The cut on Lot 002 is slightly different. Refer to measurements when sizing. I will post fit pics and some limited evo shots this week to help some of you make up your mind. I wonder how often SE will be getting restocks from 3sixteen seeing as the first lot of the SL denim was quite limited in production...

In terms of denim durability alone, should one go for the Kaihara denim or the Cone Black?

seriously considering picking up one of the SL-100x's...how do you think they stack up (regarding fit) when compared with APC recues, new standards, or just 501s?

how do the resin black ones fade? also, what is the diff between the regualrn and slim fits? the measurements look very similar

Below the knee, the straight cut appears to be MILDLY tapered, while the slim appears to be cut truly straight.

I'd be all over a pair of the slim black coated except they don't come longer than a !&$@$#% 34" inseam!

straight ones look pretty decent, might have to get a pair!
how heavy are these, and how stiff!?

14oz. They are stiff to begin with, but they soften up. Mine are quite soft now, although I did soak them once which may have taken some of the starch out.

Regarding the comparison with APC (admittedly, I haven't handled a pair of APC's) I think the denim and hardware of 3sixteen (custom buttons and rivets, Tanner leather patch) is superior.

those ST-100x jeans look fineeeeee.

I'm going to have to pick me up a pair

The bracelets look super nice after wearing them for a couple of weeks.

when you have untanned leather like the bracelet, what do you have to do to get it looking nice?

or do you just wear it, and let the magic happen?

The magic starts to flow on it's own, no need to do anything besides wear it.

After looking at these again, I've realized these are literally the PERFECT jean for me. Every single one of the measurements is right. Wow. Thank you Andrew and 3sixteen.
