Ok, so summer is close upon us. I can only get away with sneakers so often, looking for some options of shoes i can wear with shorts. I have something in my head against boat shoes, but i am open. Pics are a huge plus!

I am honestly having the smae problem. I wear vans all the time and I want to step up my game.
I have the jean shop shoes and love them. the are casual and play back to shorts and knickers well but I really want more and I am trapped at the store so i can't go shoe shopping.

I have thought of this for some time. I am in the same boat here.

The only solutions I have come up with are the boat shoe or maybe a pair of vans authentics

White bucks, or similar non leather variants are nice.

Hmm, non sneakers. Well, I have some light grey suede bluchers that can pair up nicely...

I still think the right "driving" moc can look great with shorts. Also, I have some minimal Jil flip-flops from a few seasons back that look sharp. Obviously even nice looking flip-flops don't fly in all settings. I think boat shoes still work, I love my sand NDC's. Hell, even Rick hi-tops could work if they fit your aesthetic.

Honestly, I think there's a lot more options available than you guys are initially lead to believe.

What about Clark's Desert Kahns? low top desert boots.

I own a pair, but haven't tried this yet. still too cold for shorts

Depends what shorts you're wearing, but I think an oxford in a sand/light tan suede works.

Something like these Frye's, but I'm sure there's better options out there. There's always espadrilles too -

These are Castanets, but Gaimo have some nicer ones this season IMO (bit harder to find tho).
