Guess which option I voted for? Hey ernie, my Patek is better than your Patek:

I have a bunch I never wear, and am only saving for the off chance that my son might one day wear them.

I give you the mausoleum of all hope and desire; it's rather excruciating-ly apt that you will use it to gain the reducto absurdum of all human experience which can fit your individual needs no better than it fitted his or his father's (Faulkner, TSATF, "June Second, 1910").

Used to have more; most of mine are very inexpensive ($35-60). That way I don't feel so bad when they stop working, or when the crystal gets scratched.

Nice watch. I wish my wrist was sufficiently big to wear a 42mm (Hint: Go for the 3714). Heck, I would be happy to wear a 39-40mm watch. I was considering the Mark XV UTC until I tried one on and found the lugs sticking out off my wrist.

Thanks. I thought long and hard about the 3714, but decided against it as it was alot more than the 3706 and alot more than I wanted to spend. Plus, I tried the 3714 on and it looked awkward on my wrist. I think 42mm is too large for my wrist as well.
