Thanks - when I moved to New York I substituted an obsession with cars for one with watches. At $600 a month to park and generally abysmal traffic and road quality, cars aren't really practical vices for most of us.

Just a few here:

IWC GST 3707 SS
Rainer Brand Dual-Time Panama
Rolex Datejust

Trying to decide between an IWC Ingenieur Chrono or a Panerai PAM 219 (destro Luminor base) for my next one.

Too many, yet not enough.

I have two. A rolex that my dad left to me which I wear every day and a logines that my uncle left to me.

Both have stories and I have thought about buying a third to make "my own" but its just the way the cookie crumbled.

Jeez-us. That is a hell of a collection, although I wonder why so many Daytonas?

I have 7 currently, not counting miscellaneous jogging / workout stuff:

Rolex Datejust WG (with H2O damage to the movement after the AD didn't screw the caseback on correctly)
Patek Travel Time YG
UN Ulysse 1 (platinum)
JLC Master Compressor Geographic SS
JlC Reverso Duo SS
Hamilton Khaki Automatic (Titanium)
Poljot Aviator SS
Swatch with day and date (Plastic)

I have a pretty humble collection compared to some folks here: IWC 8541b (1968) (green alligator strap) Omega Chronostop (1970) (tan calfskin strap) Omega Seamaster Professional Quartz (steel bracelet) Auguste Reymond Jazz Age Chrono (dark brown lizard strap) Revue Thommen Airspeed GMT (blue faux-"carbonfibre") Incidentally, do any of you folks feel like your collections have gotten too big? I'm already feeling like I have too many watches. I think it's partly because most of them are mechanical and I always feel bad when I let the watch stop because I'm too lazy to wind them regularly. 1 - Patria (old Omega brand name) trench watch, ca. 1915.
2 - Hamilton, 14K gold case, windup movement, 1940s vintage.
3 - Omega Seamaster De Ville, automatic movement, 1970s vintage.
4 - Omega Seamaster, automatic movement, 1960s vintage. Frankenwatch.
5 - Seiko 5 Military Automatic, olive color.
6 - Hamilton (quartz movement) w/guillauche dial and Breguet hands.
7 - Locman (quart movement) with large aluminum case, orange face and strap, for when I'm feeling ostentatious.
8 - Random Baltimore Ravens-themed watch, for game days.

I have a Tissot PRC 200 and an old Casio digital watch. I'd like to get a good Seiko watch and when I'm a bit richer Oris TT1 or Omega Seamaster.

Before I thought it was pretty important to have 1 dress watch and 1 casual watch but I'm rarely in dressy occasions!

So for now I'm into casual yet smart watches. Something which will look good with a shirt or T-shirt. This is my Tissot PRC 200:

I own four. But nothing spectacular like you see on here.

Two Sector watches.
A Tissot pocket watch.
And a shitty $AUS20 battered digital I wear out on the apron.
