Is foofing an act, or a state of mind?

I coined the word "Foof," and as its originator, I can tell you it is both.

"foo" is a noun. "foof" is a verb. Whatever the original intentions of the coiner, this is how it has turned out. Neoligism's often play out this way.

It's neither an act or a state of mind. It's a journey.

"Foof" started out as a noun, just like "pork," but as you note, it is easily deployed as a verb in contemporary times.

When used as a verb, however, it is not appropropriate to capitalize the "f" unless starting a sentence.

Do you ever wake up in the morning and say to yourself: "It's time to get foofed" or "I'm going to have a fooftastic day"?

The sleeves in the foofed version don't even look real, with almost no wrinkling while the arm is bent. Looks ridiculous. There's always going to be a certain rippling when the arms are moved back like that. As for his right arm, in your version it's what the sleeve would have probably looked like anyhow if the arm was held more forward rather than back. This is a case where you've overextended your foofing abilities, foof.

This suit is from my pre-SF days and worthy of Mafoofan's attention....I am aware that it's a bit too large for me and my existing MTM guy told me it's too long plus the buttoning stance is too low. Well, actually OK considering the overall length of the jacket but the whole length of the jacket makes me look like a "walking jacket".
