Styleforum T-shirts - Page 3

I was thinking of just that cool crest the guy had as his avatar with something about liking it the lamb underneath. I wear and say nonsensical stuff all the time. If someone asks, just say "don't worry about it." That shuts them up.
If anything, that'd have to be it. I wouldn't wear anything noticably associated with a clothing forum, cuz that's a little weird. Too bad our group isn't kikass enough to wear shirts like this:

I agree with Ken and j. No way am I wearing a shirt with the words "Styleforum" on it. I already have a PhD. My geekiness is already evident. Besides, there's nothing better than liking it the lamb.

This one is in our color scheme... I'd wear it.

Would definitely wear the first. Like Black tees more though.

How about a collage of quotes from Styleforum posts. A string of humorous, technical, interrogative sentences, phrases put together in an artful manner (use of various fonts, font sizes, stored in a rectangle in front of in the back, etc, etc...)? So that it be democratic, everyone willing to participate is allowed only a certain number of quote picks. For an overall "stream of consciousness" effect.

+1 on the "in case of emergency" shirt.

I rarely like text on a t-shirt. I once went nuts on threadless where I added my comment "that would be SO much better without the %^$%#$ text" to nearly every proposed shirt design with text. I freely admit it's a pet peeve of mine. That said, I rather like Fabienne's idea. There have been some pretty funny quotes around here even if they wouldn't be understood by the general public without explanation. Possibly, these quotes could somehow be integrated into some sort of aesthetically pleasing pattern where understanding the text wouldn't be required to "understand" the t-shirt. Why not a shirt with I AM MITTAL on the front?

I am voting for this one. I Play By The Rules (with a pic of Machiavelli)

But otherwise, I'd rather an original print - something abstract, maybe, or geometric - from a designer on the board. With no text, because text bugs me.

How about I AM MITTAL, BITCH.  If someone asks about it, tell them you received it at a taping of Chappelle's Show, and that all will be clear when the episode airs in a few months.  Enjoy their dumbstruck reaction, smile, and walk away.

Well, cocaine is a hell of a drug. Jon.
