Ray Ban used to be owned by Bausch & Lomb, and I prefer the Ray Bans of that era to the modern Luxxotica ones.

Vintage Ray Bans should say Bausch & Lomb on the inside and won't have the Ray Ban logo on the lense. I'd also be interested in just Bausch & Lomb branded frames

I would guess he means pre-luxotica ray bans. I pm'ed you this AM but I'd also be interested in any brown/tortoise wayfarers or clubmaster types.

Super overload! I will have pictures up tomorrow morning when I get to work. I jsut found out that my camera is not working so I will take camera phone pics for now and post them all in the first post of this thread. If anyone is interested, let me know....

I have mostly eyeglasses, but I can make them into sunglasses by putting in tinted lenses. I can give you the clear lenses too if you like. When I start posting pics, youll have a better idea of what I have.

I didn't know that Bausch & Lomb founded Ray-Ban. I guess I learn something new every day. I don't think I have any B&L Wayfarers or Persols, but I will take a look tomorrow morning. I have mostly high-end frames from companies that made eyeglasses (Dior, Dunhill, Catier...). That was our main business at the time.

So I bring out my wife's old camera phone to work but the thing is broken! My BB doesnt have a camera. I will try to source a camera by this afternoon. Pics to follow....
