Yeah, I think this look could work well in any of those settings. Not ideal for each, but passable. And it looks good in general. I'm also not saying that you will be mocked anywhere you go by wearing something normalish. You will be fine, it's just that maybe most people will be wearing something pretty different. Just saying that the guidos who wear their Ed Hardy shirts to Meatpacking would look out of place in a Brooklyn artsy fartsy loft. And Chucks + super skinny jeans and a pink-v neck tshirt would look completely out of place at Dorian's on the UES. A blazer should be appropriate for all these locations though, so I like that suggestion.
