WW Chan Vintage Cloth Offer + Tailoring Offer [now with more mohair] - Page 2

It looks like we can surmise that the cost of tailoring a jacket is about $610US, sans cloth.

Has anyone heard back from Chan sales yet? I emailed 24 hours ago, and still no reply.

I'll give them a call a little later, they do know about your order. It's been close to a day, yes, but we are not yet at midday on our side of the world.

I just checked, apparently your e-mail address is rejecting mails? Let's sort this out over PM.

I'm quite amazed no-one is interested in the Wain Shell 10.1, 10.2 or 10.3. They would make some kick ass smoking jackets, especially with a solid coloured lapel. I did something similar with a black fresco for the lapels, worked out nicely.

I tried to order the 8.1 in a 2-piece. Alas, my dimensions are too grand to accommodate the fabric on hand. So it may still be available.

Do you know if this offer available to Shanghai Chan customers as well, or just the HK store?

Unfortunately, it's just the HK store. A friend of mine (non SF) asked about this earlier.

Ack, that's a real shame. Anyway, I love the 10.4 a lot, so I've emailed about just buying the cloth itself. I'm sure I'll find someone to get it made up.

I just wanted to thank yfyf again for his work in making this offer available to us. I just called to place an order for 12.1.

I'm flattered by the thanks, very kind of you. It was a great pleasure to dig through the stock, find the gems and hopefully I selected things that have some special appeal to somebody out there. May everybody dress in good health!

I wish you could give some details on the weight of the cloths.

Actually cap'n, it's ranked by weight ...

There's a heading 8oz, 9oz etc for each section. i.e. 8.3 means 8oz cloth #3.
