Over 60s posts and no one has mentioned Kurt Cobain.

Not that I think he should be mentioned, just that, if you watched any video countdown on MTV in the mid 90 to late 90s, Nirvana/Cobain/Smells Like Teen Spirit was always in the top 3 of not #1.

As for this thread, I'm throwing my hat in on Bernie Taupin/Elton John combo.
