OK, here we have a Lanvin suit from the 15 Faubourg range. The tag is familiar as the type Raffaele Caruso sew into their suits. The fabric is a light grey cotton and is very soft, light and crisp, and ideal for spring/summer. I'm not too well up on fabrics but it might be described as poplin (?) It has two buttons on the front, and four on the cuffs (not functioning). The trousers are flat front with two pockets on the rear. The suit is new and unworn, but there are some creases, typical of cotton suits, which I have no doubt will drop or press out. It is a size 48EU, but the measurements might be more typical of a 50. You be the judge. Jacket. Chest: 21 inches Shoulder: 18.25 inches Length: 30.5 inches (Bottom of collar) Sleeves: 26 inches Trousers. Waist: 16.5 inches across the inside of the waistband. Leg: Long. The suit is identical in everything but colour to one currently on Luisaviaroma at 1,404 Euros. Suit will ship from the UK.

Although it's from the 'grown up' 15 Faubourg range, I feel that this suit is close in style to the runway suits, just with more sensible length. I just had my brother try it on... seeing it worn is making me seriously re-consider selling it. He commented that it is snug around the upper arms, and I thought the same thing.

Just to clarify, I earlier described the colour of the suit as light beige. This is how it was described to me before I bought it, and this informed how I saw it. However, I think it's most definitely light grey. It's that very light and ambiguous shade.

Oh, and price drop to $475

Now available for $450. I am using dollars because this is a mainly North American forum, but for a British buyer the price would be £310 including postage.

Leg: Long. My legs might be longer so would you please measure the inseam?

Sure. The leg is 36 inches, with another 2+ inches tacked up inside. The suit came to me in it's garment bag, hanging in a massive box (over three feet tall) with a built in rail. I was shocked when it arrived, and shipping must have cost a fortune. I would send the suit in the bag, but without the big box which would make shipping very expensive. I would also recommend not taking the hanger, which isn't very impressive anyway and would just drive up shipping costs with it's awkward shape. I'm actually surprised it hasn't sold yet. It's a very sexy suit, IMO.

36?!@$? long sugi yo. The only time I was forced to pay custom charges to Japan was when a jacket was sent in a 3ft square box. pm sent after post count rises to 2.
