The shipping is much higher than the last order and I was hoping that the 115 price included VAT.

I confirmed 1 of the 2 pairs I had originally ordered. Total cost plus delivery is approx Eur180 to the Netherlands, which still makes them a good value shoe

ya, being in CAD makes the deal pretty sour. 53 CAD shipping.... is quite hefty coming in at a lil over 260 before customs. total would be around 340CAD. (18% duties, 13% tax. which is what i got from a previous order.)

i'm still going for it

even with the painful shipping, the shoes are better value than anything i can buy locally in aus.

I wonder if cancelling my orders would play a part in causing the prices to hike further for those still interested.

I might have to fold.

reading through the email, im glad they touched on all the issues we brought up in the threads here. the shipping is exceptionally high, and i hope its only this high because its next day air or maybe 2 day. can anyone comment on that? how fast was the turnaround

I am looking at $215 CDN shipped per pair. This is half what a pair of AEs cost up here and fairly similar to what I could get them for online, so I am still thinking of pulling the trigger. I am quite concerned about the potential for duties to blow the price up further though.

I am still not really understanding why regular international shipping for TRL is 12 GBP, but suddenly it's jumped to 24 GBP per pair for these shoes, and they're still talking about the discount they get. I am going to email Richard.

from the import form i got, duties were 18%, the fee from canada post for handling priority package from EMS is 8 dollars and the taxes would be in addition to that which depends on province.

This is my order:
1x Half Brogue Willow Calf , size 7, width G, Leather sole\t£135.00 \t
1x Full Brogue Walnut Suede, size 7, width G, Leather sole\t£109.00 \t

UK VAT has not been added, as it is not required for deliveries to United States of America
The delivery cost for all 2 shoes is £48.61 \t
£244.00 \t
- I will go through with it but my only concern is a member stated that the red lining leaves red dye on socks. Any one else experience this?
-Also if I like the shoes, are other members willing to do another run?
-Finally thanks to Man Of Kent for telling me about this deal. A very gracious gentleman in his responses.

had an issue with the size i had initialled pre-ordered, i emailed them at 8:15 to fix the issue and at 8:21 they wrote back saying they had fixed it

also if i clicked the confirm checkbox and then clicked update and it gave me the shipping, does that mean my shoe is ordered?
