MyTailor English Wide spread collar photo request

I ordered a Mytailor shirt with the Classic Spread collar and the collar didn't have as wide a spread as I would have liked. I was hoping someone with a Mytailor shirt that has the English Wide Spread could post a picture (I did a search and couldn't find one). I just want an idea of how the spread on that collar really looks. Thank you to anyone who could do this favor for me.

Here you go. Fresh out of the wash - so fresh in fact, they're not even dry. Hope that helps! I initially ordered the Classic Spread before emailing Hemrajani in the nick of time (literally) to change it to an English Wide Spread.

Sorry to revive this thread but does anyone have a picture of the English spread being worn? I switched from the "classic spread" in my most recent order today and am having minor buyer's remorse. Still have time to switch it.


This is my second order. The first one was about a 7/10 but I am hopeful about this next batch.

You could order one of each and decide how you like them. It's unlikely that either will be unwearable.

With either option, their default collar is a bit on the small side. You may want to play around with the collar measurements. What I would do is take the measurements of a collar you really like on an existing shirt, and then input those in the order form.

That's what I noticed with the wide spread. Did you just increase the collar point length or also the back height?

Both, in my case. I don't have my collar measurements off the top of my head and am traveling this week, but I'll see if I can post them when I get home.

 

Just be careful to avoid the extremes. A collar height breaching too far past 2", or a length above 3.5", is going to start to look clownish.
