Guys, why is this suit so cheap? For $202, I grabbed the 52 as CN fits me really well. I figure it'd be a cool casual suit for a date/the club (yes, it's black).

The fact that it's cotton instead of wool probably has a reasonable amount to do with it.

Yeah, but all the other cotton CN ones I've ever seen are like ~$400.

It could be a couple seasons old as well. To be honest, I have full faith in Ennio Capasa that I would be willing to drop 200 bones on a pretty much blind deal. Plus there is a pretty telling picture - looks like a nice sillhouette, no? If it turns out to be sour and you really want the $200 back, I seriously think you could get a lot more than $200 for it on eBay. If it was in my size, I would snatch it up immediately.

This is very tempting. How does a CN 40 US fit? Especially the shoulders? I really like that suit. BTW, if you're gonna buy anyway, support the forum by buying at YOOX and Bluefly through this link.

Dammit. I wanted that... someone already took it. Sometimes I hate the forum...

Yeah, I pulled the trigger before even posting. I liked the silhouette and figured that $200 wasn't a big deal.

CN runs small---like a 40 is 40" in the chest. People are probably going to say I'm not running true the designer's intentions, but I always size up.

Okay, you're not banned then, because I probably wouldn't have fit. But if you see another 42 like that, PM me first or you're gone.

j, you should buy this suit. You will stop me from buying it (unless negative bank balances are good).

Aren't the trousers huge? Looks like something cut for women.

CN is very narrowly cut.

I take a US 40 normally but feel uncomfortable in a CN EU 50 and therefore would go for a 52.

Perhaps this is the way the designer wishes it to fit [there was another thread on this], but I figger you pays yer money and takes yer choice.

Does buying from Yoox, and Bluefly really help the forum?
If you buy through those links, I get a bit of the proceeds. Keeping me alive (and out of debtor's prison) helps the forum, because if I die, who will call Texas when it goes down, or ban the next incarnation of you-know-who? Plus, I'd like to be able to start paying Steve and at some point the other mods as well for their work keeping the place up.

So, yes, it does.
