On Larry King today, P Diddy and Ashton Kutcher talking about Twitter, with P Diddy talking out his ass saying stuff like:

"he has his own twitter dna, i have my own twitter dna, mine is inspirational"

Goddamn twitter and all this celebrity hype...

why do celebrities think that just because a microphone was shoved up to them that whatever they're going to say has substance?

I think I'm officially old as is this one of the few networking fads that I haven't bothered checking out. It's just like constant facebook status updates right? Or something like that.

I never saw the point of twitter, I don't care enough about anyone to want to know exactly what they are doing at any given moment, I don't expect others to care about what I'm doing. Besides, isn't a large part of socializing to reflect on what you've been up to recently? If everyone 'twittered' then it'd make a lot of socializing redundant because we'd all know where everyone was and what everyone was doing, takes away the mystery and suspense as well.

Even facebook is gay though. It's useful for finding people you've lost touch with, but beyond that, I don't care to read about people's epic nights out drinking, or at the beach, or wherever.
