Memorable birthdays

Which ones are your most memorable birthdays / birthday parties?

For me it has to be my 20th and 23rd.

20th was just a big party at my place with 20-25 of my best friends. Beirut, flip cup, video games, drinking, cute girls. It was just old-fashioned college-style fun.

23rd was epic, with 30-40 people with me at a K-Town lounge. Everyone got wasted. Lots of debauchery, certain friends got kicked out, puking, finishing with a 6am karaoke session in a private room with my two best guy friends, and three cute girls getting nude and rude (no homo).

Worst must have been the 21st. Working til 4am at my banking internship, by myself in the office.

My birthday is new years eve so as a kid it was pretty much impossible to have a birthday party on my actual birthday as most of my friends were out of town, or their parents had made plans for the night.

The most memorable birthdays are 5th,13th, and 19th (I think).

My 5th is the most memorable because it was fairly traumatic IIRC. I was very into TNMT and got 3-4 action figures and a playset. I literally had just opened them, and this kid snatches it from my lap and starts playing w/ it. I didn't want to share obviously as it was MINE! (GIVE IT!) so I think I hit the kid or something. needless to say both he and I cried, and I got a stern look and brief talking to from my dad for not sharing. I suppose 'traumatic' was a bit strong, but I remember the whole ordeal quite vividly.

My 13th was a big deal because everybody I knew kept making such a big deal about me becoming a teenager. I got really tipsy on champagne and said funny things to my parents friends who had come over for dinner. I was well beyond birthday 'parties' at this point as I hated the idea of them, and new I could eat better food and get better presents from my parents if I didn't invite friends over. It was pretty selfish, but I was 13 so...

19th was enjoyable because I had quite a few friends in town, and I made a big deal about wanting to do something fun on my birthday but being busy with classes/christmas plans etc I never actually ended up coming up with anything. We went to see The Life Aquatic (I think anyway as it had been releaed fairly close to Christmas) and got IHOP.

21 was funny, because everyone thought I was 17 and was lying. My dad took me to lunch at hooters and I had to do this stupid hoola-hoop thing. The girls, The cook, The manager none of them thought I was 21.
