Hey guys,

I appreciate they wat R&B is doing business and have seen plenty of reviews of their jeans... for the prices, how are their shirts? Anybody with long-term experience?

I've had decent luck.

I love them, but prices have been rising in recent years and frankly not sure if I will purchase at full price any more. They tend to all be cut slim with high arm holes and longer lengths. I give them all a fair bit of wear, some I hand wash, some I dry clean. All are standing up well to the test of time.

Thanks- yes, seeing them north of $200 retail gives me great pause.

the quality is extremely nice, especially the fabric on the control shirt from this season. I also like their vintage 'painted' buttons and the fact that thy're produced in the US. I will say that I do not like their recent upshift in prices, and it's really turned me away from a lot of the brands pieces in general, although shirts are still inline with other brands at the same price level. I like a lot of stuff from them this s/s and will be making some nice pickups during sale time

I always found their shirts cut very odd, never fit as well as most high end designers.

What kind of shirts are you talking about? I have a long sleeve and a short sleeve Duke button-up shirt and i like them alot, though they do seem a little pricey at retail compared to other rag&bone clothing. They seem to be good quality, but to me its not as apparent as in other rag & bone. like others said other said, i find the fit to be slim but a little long.
I also have a 3/4 placket shirt (runs very small and extremelt fitted), western snap shirt (which i am wearing right now), box pleat shirt, and a shirt-jacket, and they all are great and a little better priced compared to the normal button-ups.

I dont have any experience with their t-shirts.

R&B shirts fit me better off the rack than any other brand I've found. I have about eight of them. Nice and slim for a 5'11" 183 lb guy like me. Not hard to find during sale time, which is when I usually get them.

I've tried on only their long sleeve, button fronts, etc... slim certainly.

Definitely like their stuff. The quality is better than BoO IMO. I need to pick up more shirts from them TBH but as Teger said the price definitely makes you second guess your purchase. Still, I'm sure I'd be happier with them in the long run than BoO or similar alternatives.

IMO some of the shirts are very nice and worth retail (let alone at a 20% discount.. hint hint..) the pricing is really getting whack with some of the suiting and some of the outerwear. $500+ for a windbreaker.. no thanks

I own the 3/4 red microcheck (courtesy of Farinelli's - woo) runs slim, but true to size, the 3/4 green herringbone (the one that runs f-ing hella tight), a white Duke dress shirt, and their combat shirt jacket (courtesy of a WillyNilly), and I concur that the antiqued buttons and quality are fantastic. I would say better than BoO as well. I also agree though that the price is getting redic, but come sale time, I'm in.

Rag and Bone shirts are excellent quality. I can vouch for their fabric - we both get it from the same place. The pima cotton is phenomenal.

I have a shirt from about two years ago. The cut is great and it's held up to a ton of wash and wear. I dig their line overall, and I respect their support for US production.

All that said, I agree with the other posters about their pricing. It seems to have ballooned in the past few years.

see, i think the windbreaker at $500 or is a better buy than a button-up for $290. I have the windbreaker from a few seasons ago in treated navy cotton and i absolulety love it.

Tonio, what size do you have the green herringbone 3/4 in? Mines a small but i think maybe a medium would have been better. The material on it is so nice though.
How does the fit of the red microcheck compare?... I want to get the right size if i end up getting one from this season.
