Does Don Cherry have a billion dollar video game line bearing his name? Like him or not, Madden is marketable and back in the day he really knew what was happening with football.

John Madden was one of my favorite NFL voices. He brought personality while most football commentators lack it. Oh well, he had a good run.

I used to love Madden & Summerall on Fox Football during the 90s.

No... but does John Madden have these wicked bespoke suits? Sorry for the threadjack, just yanking your chains. Madden was great back in the heyday.

Madden is an icon of NFL football. He needed to retire, but he's provided great commentary over the years.

I'll miss his freakish, six-legged turkeys he had every Thanksgiving for the games he announced.

You could tell the guy loved the sport. He was fun to watch.

He is being replaced by Cris Collinsworth. The executive who made this decision should be hanged. I hate that man.
