Filling Dinners - Page 2

I'm really not one of those people. I find that the more meals I eat, the more I eat overall. I've had best results actually fasting and not eating for a while and then eating nice hearty meals afterwards.

This made a huge different in weight and body composition.

This is purely useless anecdotal evidence, though.

And you controlled the calorie intake in both situations so that they were exactly equal?

For dinner and pre-bed snack I eat something with lots of protein & good fats. Fats keep you "fuller" longer. I'll eat fish for dinner, and then maybe some natural PB and cottage cheese or a casein shake (both, usually) right before bed. Contrary to popluar thinking, not all foods are bad to eat before bed. Fats & slow-digesting proteins are great for keping you full til morning. Carbs are no good at night.

A little late to the response, but for the most part, yes. I measure my diet in how many eggs and cans of sardines I eat in a day.

Get some low fat cottage cheese + veggies and spice 'em up a little. Very filling and quite healthy.
