Shoe Brands Worth Paying Retail

I've been looking for my next pair of shoes. The discount sites have been unhelpful with carrrying my size or even having the shoe available.
For example: the C&J Westfield in Calf Brown, the AE Strands in Dk Brwn, and the Alden Medallion Tip Bal in Brown are either too new, completely unavailable or just unavailable in my size.
This made me consider purchasing a shoe at full retail, which many here will claim to avoid as much as possible and I can't buy used.

Looking through the list of HIGH END SHOES, avoiding the rediculously expensive brands, which brands would be considered a good buy even at full retail price?

JM Weston classic line; I've seen pairs that are 20 years old and still look great (I assume of course that the quality has not changed in 20 years).

No brand, anywhere, is worth paying full retail for. That doesnt stop me from doing it though

Once a shoe is made by a known maker its price is marked up making its price more than its worth. My advice, buy what you love and dont think twice.

Martegani- which unfortunately will be getting fewer and farther between it seems.
So might as well keep looking for sales.

You shouldn't buy somethig just because it's a good brand at cheap. I checked those links and there was nothing I liked. The shoes I like are unavailable on sale in my size. Sometimes retail is the only option.

Set up ebay searches. Eventually something will come your way.

Let him pay full retail. A 9D is a very common size.

Tricker's are a good value even on full retail considering the low Pound.
