Quick Breakfast (Shake, etc)

I do not have time to cook, or even really eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast in the mornings.

Normally I go between instant breakfast packets with skim milk, bananas, slim fast shakes, and special k bars.

I also tried Kashi Protein shakes which were really good.

I find that they come a little short in holding me to lunch, and was wondering what else there wzas that is high in protein and maybe 300+ calories.

Allthewhey has a meal replacement shake called lean n' fit that I've found to be high in protein and quite filling. You could also have a spoon of PB with your breakfast to add calories and keep you full for a long time.

A blender is the quickest way to solid nutrition. Every morning: milk banana scoop protein bunch of peanut butter bunch of oats blend, consume

Wake up earlier and have a real meal. What I eat depends on what I feel like. Hot/cold cereal, one eyed jack, omelette, yogurt, coffee (freshly ground and on the stove), they're all on the menu. Probably the only meal my roommate and I enjoy together.

It takes a minute to cook a bowl of Quaker oatmeal in the microwave, another 3 or 4 to gulp it down. Do you really not have 5 minutes to have a proper breakfast?

What protein Should I use?
6 oz milk
4 oz water
4 big spoonfulls of plain yogurt
3 big spoonfulls of cottage cheese
bunch of whole almonds (15 or so)
1/2 banana
few berries

Blend

Drink in the car. If you are picky about carbs, replace the milk with water and the yogurt with simple whey powder protein.

Whenever I'm rushing towards school, I can't afford to even bite a bread or so. Waking up earlier isn't an easy task for a heavy sleeper like me. Your suggestions could be very helpful to some of us.

I use Carnation instant breakfast as a base because I like the flavor. Right now I use generic bulk whey from HEB but I try to catch ON unflavored whey on sale. Carantion, 1 scoop of whey and occasionally peanut butter or cascadian farms granola with milk in the blender. Also, it really doesn't take but 5 minutes to cook eggs in the morning. I can make a breakfast burrito almost as fast as I can make a shake and rinse the blender. Cooking doesn't take time if you plan ahead.
