SOLD: I listed in B&S a BNWT Gitman Vintage "Take Sail" 100% linen camp collar shirt. @dieworkwear has blogged that this is his favorite printed shirt of the season:http://dieworkwear.com/post/174034157089/the-best-printed-shirts-of-the-season

Overdyes almost always fit smaller, for everything in every brand

Dunno if it's interesting, but Gitman Vintage removed the sweep on the 2020 staple shirts to sort of appeal for the new trend of straighter fits.

I noticed this on their website that several shirts are listed as "old fit"... this this what you're referring to? So the new style has a straighter fit than the old ones?

I am wearing a GV blackwatch cotton/linen BD as I type this and actually have the shirt in the top picture, but only in short sleeve.

Have added 3 or 4 GV of late from Blackblue’s Summer Sale. Prolly have a dozen more from years past. I still really dig them and not sure what if any quality drop off there has been since ceasing operations in Pennsylvania and moving all to Tennessee.

Regardless, when purchased around $100 max, I really think that they are tough to fault.

I like mine a lot. The sleeves on their standard fit are too short for me so I do MTO through their website. You can also choose a larger collar, which is cool.
