Thanks for the heads up. Just bought one of the seersucker shirts I've been watching for a while.

Does anyone own any 100% Linen Gitman shirts? Is the material rough/itchy?

varies from shirt to shirt.

the indigo linen "chambray" is a real coarse linen - might soften up in a few washes, and its totally wearable from the get go, but its definately got some heft to it.

the linen with the honeycomb overlay on the other hand is incredibly fine and soft.

Bought four gitman vintage shirts on sale this week, and now this. My credit card is taking a beating.

The Barney's outlet in Camarillo, CA has a bunch of GV in most sizes for $99. I remember seeing 3 floral prints, the hawaiian shirt, the one with the sailboat shirt, and a couple other ones.

Anyone have the glitter dot or pineapple shirt on Unionmade? Did you notice it fitting larger or tts to your other shirts? According to measurements Medium is too small and Large is too big. frown.gif

Anyone have any of the seersucker shirts? The measurements make it seem like they fit slimmer and shorter then your average GBV shirt.

It fits about the same as my other shirts. I find the measurements provided by websites to be off a lot of the time. I bought mine from context and they listed the pit to pit measurement as 19" but I measured it as 19.5". (size small)

I'm more disappointed that it's not as cool in warm weather as I was expecting it to be.

I had a Seersucker shirt and it felt like I had a little more room than my other shirts and yes, I agree I thought Seersucker was going to be some magic type of fabric. lol. it's, not. shog[1].gif

Can anyone comment on the broadcloth fabric vs the madras fabric? I'm looking for lightweight fabrics, and I like the feel of the madras shirts.

Are the Gitman Vintage shorts and chinos vanity sized? I wear 28 in RRL and J Crew and have a 31" waist. Can anyone comment on the fit?

The pair I have is tts (34 has 34 waist). Slimish fit my thighs are really tight but I have bigger thighs
