I personally think all shirts should be ironed unless the material is meant to look wrinkly like linen or seersucker. It's pretty standard decorum to iron ones clothes.

the linens could use a press sometimes - out of the box they are sometimes more wrinkled than I'd like. the dobby is a peculiar case - it has elastic cross threads that make it look (and fit) the way it does. you definately wont get it to a point where it's completely flat but some spot ironing could be beneficial

Anyone handle or own the summer blue chambray? Looking for an opinion on them.

Anyone here experienced bad finishing?

I own 2 pieces of Gitman Vintage OCBD and each of them has a nasty defect that will definitely shorten the lifespan of the shirt! =(

I purchased from End and also Tres-Bien

Shot in the dark, but does anyone know where I could find the purple llama flannel from last F/W in a small?

I have had mixed experiences actually. I have a stripped shadow-dot that fits similar to the gbv's I picked up from barneys, and two plaid oxfords that fit significantly slimmer in arms/body/chest and shorter in the sleeves. Quality seems to be about equal though.

FWIW gitman blue is gitman calls a line of ties they put out. This question always comes up with every myhabit sale and no one really seems to have an official answer.

Same exact experience.  I have a bit of a paunch and my Gitman Vintage Oxfords fit me just right, but this Gitman Blue I ordered from Myhabit is incredibly boxy and you can tell as soon as you unfold it.  Luckily myhabit has a great return policy.

What was the defect on your shirt?

Just snatched one of the new Gitman x The Hill-Side shirts from Indigo & Cotton.

I was torn between the navy calico and black calico.

Ended up grabbing the navy.

Picked up the summer chambray and blue madras.

Do any stores still have the green madras in M? I've been looking but no luck.
