Gitman Brothers Vintage - Page 220

Anyone ever get hit with duties ordering Gitman to Canada from overseas? I've ordered things like Filson before and only had to pay provincial taxes, but I'm not sure if I should expect the same. Thanks.

Just checked out the Acrimony stuff. Yikes. Some pretty loud stuff. The kabuki print is kind of cool, but really none of those shirts are tame enough for me. Disappointed. I hope there's some stuff coming up for us less brave gents.

Post a fit pic when you get it, I'll be curious to see how it looks and what you think.

it will probably be a lil roomy on me, but I think that's the type of fits I should be going with.

is that a black skinny tie? try a different colored 2.5" tie or something. that will work much better.

Are GBVs made to use with tie? The collars are higher than any other OTR shirts I've seen.

very simple question: are all gitman shirts made the same size? e.g. if i fit into a small, or a medium, does that hold throughout their full line? when patterns, fabrics change?

no, there is difference when different fabrics come into play and GB is different than GBV

sorry -- i meant GBV. only talking GBV here.

so how do you find the right size if you might be between a small and medium?

you order both :) or you pray

look at measurements online or try them on. I usually find it just varies fabric to fabric, but that isn't even always true I discovered. I have an ecru overdye oxford from this season in a medium that fits me very nicely...it's just a hair larger than my other non-overdye oxfords in the same size. So, I thought all the overdye oxfords would fit like that...tried on the royal blue one this weekend and it was too small to wear in a medium. Go figure.
