This thread is almost as bad as the APC thread now. Sure there may be some sisters shirts in the mix and a few ones cut a bit off, but you are buying them from MyHabit what do you expect? And how many people here complaining actually have a good sample of Gitman shirts to compare to? Sounds like a bunch of people just got sizing wrong or something like that.

If I were buying shirts from the same brand they didn't have different fits of shirt, just one standard fit, then I'd expect them to be REALLY close if not the same whether I got them from the brand directly or MyHabit.

Gitman's notorious for inconsistent sizing from material to material/season to season... part of the reason I don't buy their shirts anymore without measurements.

at that price you can send them back. what a way to give back to the forum.

Apologies, didn't know the rules in this thread.

You can only do an IC in this thread if you aren't marking up the price.

Except this thread isn't for personal advertising and selling.

So shout out to myhabit: USPS lost my package, got a refund with absolutely 0 hassles after I contacted them twice (once before I stopped by the post office to see if they could do anything on their end, and once again after I found out my carrier simply fucked up).

If anyone is thinking of returning any solid colour size S let me know.

Sorry, didn't know that. I'll take my posts off.

And for what it's worth, I didn't mark up the yellow oxford because I didn't get it from myhabit.

The shirt end is above my ass cheeks at the backside and in the center of the "dick-thing" on the jeans.

The collection uses the same fabrics and details as the classic men’s shirts, but it’s been expertly tweaked to fit females. Namely, the collar has been minimized, the pockets are smaller, and there’s a flattering central seam in the back.
so it looks like the true easy to ID indicators should be a smaller than normal pocket and a seam in the back. Anyone have these on their shirts?

Received my shirt on Monday, but I had it delivered to my office and didn't get to pick it up till today. I've only had a couple minutes to give it a preliminary try-on and found the same as the other guys: Seems to be a normal fit everywhere except in the hem and arm length, which are short.

When I get home tonight, I'll post measurement comparisons between this shirt and other Gitmans I own.

OK, I just compared the plaid shirt I got from My Habit with this year's navy floral print, which I purchased from Unionmade (both tagged Gitman Vintage size M):

400

Here's how the measurements stack up:

PLAID
Chest: 20.5
Front Length: 25
Sleeve: 23.5
Bottom: 21
Back Length: 29

FLORAL
Chest: 21
Front Length: 27
Sleeve: 25.5
Bottom: 21
Back Length: 31

While the chest and bottom widths don't differ significantly (or at all), the lengths differ consistently by two inches. I need to decide if that length is enough to get me to return the plaid. If I don't, I'll have to wear it with the sleeves rolled up or as a layering piece, which I might be OK with in the end.

Length varies quite a bit for me. Most plaids / flannels I have are about 29 or 30, oxfords and ginghams are 31-32 or so. I think one source of the differences in sizing is that Gitman sources so many difference Japanese fabrics that have different shrinkages. Given how shirts are made, the majority of shrinkage would be in sleeves and length
