Gitman Brothers Vintage - Page 182

got my dark grey oxford today and was happy to see it had the nicer chalk buttons rather than the cheaper plastic ones I've seen in the past. Never used this MyHabit site before but sure was easy and a good deal, especially since there was no shipping charge. I forget who posted the original heads up on this but thanks, and I did use your referral link.

there's a couple fall 2012 shirts up for pre-order on the barney's site too, but still none of the crazy prints yet frown.gif.

Because it looks like he just bought a bunch of the shirts with the sole intention of reselling them for more than twice what he paid. I'm not above selling things for more than I paid (hell, that's how I generate most of my income), but at least take that elsewhere. There are quite a few people in this thread and the sale thread who expressed genuine interest in owning some of these shirts, so it's kind of a bad look that a member here bought quite a few of these same shirts with the sole intention of turning a profit.

But whatever. Anyone familiar with GV knows you can score a lot of the non-print shirts for less than what he's asking if you're patient and pounce on the sales.

B&S has been pretty slow for me, he's going to have a hard time moving them for that price. I don't condemn him for trying. The sale was public and open to all, he was just quicker.

He was quicker and has the prerogative to flip, but asking for almost 2x is a little greedy

I bought a Gitman oxford in a medium and it is a bit too small. Message me if you're interested.

SOLD

Ordered these two shirts through my habit, both in size M, but unfortunately they're both a little too tight now in the back area =[. I want to trade them for the same style or a different one mattering on which, and I'm also willing to sell them if I can't find any traders.

^ ^ ^ THIS SHIRT CAME IN A SHORT SLEEVE AND NOT THE LONG SLEEVE LIKE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO!

Ordered this floral print from the MyHabit sale and it showed up as a short sleeve.
Surprised, but I do like the SS better.

^^ I have that in short sleeve as well. Makes a better short-sleeve than long-sleeve shirt, IMO.

Looks like a lot of shirts come in short sleeve. Isnt it specified at the details?

got this in a xs for someone. Too small, so if anyone is interested, I'm looking to move it.

I'd be interested in a navy or chambray oxford in XL if anyone doesn't want theirs.

Do Gitman shirts have different fits? I mean fits like classic, custom or slim fit? I haven't seen it mentioned in the details or each shirt's name.
