^ Yeah man! I don't really care for them having some MOP buttons, I think they would look funny on the shirts.
But that weak ass yellow plastic shit that I have on my blue oxford is well, FUCKING WEAK!

I love the matte chalk buttons. I think they look really good against they shirts. Gitman never emailed me back about getting some either, could've at least said "HELL NO."

Yeah I wear my Gitmans pretty casually I don't think I'd ever wear one for anything business casual or up

is not machine washable. it's my first gv shirt that isn't and i have quite a few. the other linen shirts i have were machine washable iirc.

good thing my washing machine is HE. Would've been soaked in detergent by now. lol

Whoa, where is this shirt from?

Awesome shirt. I was able to check it out in real life and the color is something you have to see with your own eyes to fully appreciate. There's a greenish-blue one as well, though IMO, doesn't look as cool as this one.

Does anyone if these two shirts have released or where they are available?

and I have a feeling that "orange" one is the Rolland Garros shirt from the tennis collection (also at Context) but it's not nearly as vibrant an orange in real life...it's more peachy. I think that is the Aussie Open and Wimbledon shirts on either side of it and they seem to have the vibrancy pumped up in that photo as well.

Hey all, quick question:
Just bought this shirt http://www.contextclothing.com/item.php?id=2743 and am looking at the tag which says Dry Clean only... can someone explain the reasoning behind that and how strictly it's advisable to adhere to that?

It's linen, I would say you would definitely be safe handwashing and hanging dry. You should be ok with putting it in the washer as well in a more gentle cycle with cold water. I don't have any linen shirts from Gitman though so I'll leave this for someone with the shirt to confirm

I was wondering about this. Do you guys tuck in your Gitman shirts, more specifically the oxfords?

I tuck mine in. I always wear them for work. I find them good work shirt as they can be tucked in unlike BoO.

I was thinking more with just denim.

How heavy are their "cambridge oxford" BD shirts? is it summer material?
