Gitman Brothers Vintage - Page 150

It's hard to gauge if the chest is loose or not, but the shoulders, sleeve length, and body length make it look like there is room for a size down.

Sleeves do look a little long but I like the fit otherwise. I don't think Gitman is good for that super fitted BoO look.

Size differences are also huge. XS will be like 2 inches smaller in the chest, 18 vs 20.

Yeah that's what originally threw me off. I have a 36" chest and i'm not sure that would fit in an XS. But the slightly slouchy shoulders and long sleeves/body on the S are kind of lame.

I'll just roll em and tuck it I guess biggrin.gif

yeah that's the problem with gitman, it's too easy to be stuck between sizes.  xs is tiny and xl is enormous, so the vast majority of people are trying to fit in s, m, or l.  I finally put on enough mass to fit into a large, but I was squarely in no man's land for a long time.

Definitely. If anybody is between an M and L I have the hickory blue stripe one in B&S

I received a dragonfly print size S today and, i'm not sure if it's the way it drapes or what, but it fits me better in every way I think.

Looks great, my problem with Gitman shirts is that it looks good from the front, but from the side or back it's terrible. I often remove the box pleat because of this.

If anyone's interested, Triads has some Gitman's on sale.

Mostly L and XL though.

Through alterations?

Acrimony has a notice on some of it's Gitman offerings that "these shirts are running trim. Size up if you are between sizes."
Any idea how much more trim?

Penelopes has the double weight grey flannel button down on sale S M L XL availability. I have it - probably my favorite item purchased in a long time.
