There were two size smalls in that floating around in the Classifieds section of SW&D the past few weeks. Go ahead and start killing.

GITMAN - LIBERTY PATTERN SHORT.jpg

These are the shorts for Gitman Spring 2012. Has anyone ever tried their shorts? I am all over that print next April.

^ They look like a shorter length than this Summer's, which would be dope, since they're currently slightly long and the hem a little too wide. Or perhaps they're swim trunks? The 'ships' blueprints' pattern is almost identical to an PRL I scored from an outlet 10 yrs back, with the color scheme reversed.

Thanks Jaspar!

Yeah I prefer over the knee but that's nothing a tailor can't fix I suppose.

The liberty print is mineeeeee.

Button down is pretty standard for Gitman buys, South Willy is one of the few that does that collar

Nomad's got a bunch. You might end up paying a premium if you're not in Canada.

^^^ how does the Japanese combed twill feel? Is it considerably heavier?

Ordered the navy overdye today from Barneys. Wish I would have picked it up earlier to save a few bucks though. The blackwatch plaid is next on my hit list. God I love these shirts.

The green overdye (i think) is in stock @ needsupply for those who slept on grabbing it over the past few weeks. Just ordered mine!

Just got my oxford shirts in today. The length is still 30 inches on the XS.

does anybody know about the sizing on the portuguese flannels this season? context doesn't have any charts up for them.
my roommate has the light blue one in a large and I think it fits slightly bigger than most of their large shirts. Not a huge difference though, and not something I necessarily mind in a flannel. The darker colored flannel is actually a different, thicker fabric, and i found it fit on the smaller side for a large when I tried it on. Both great shirts though.

is it true that gitman has low armholes compared to something lik boO?

yes, they definitely are not high arm holes I don't think.
