You've never enjoyed the beef and rice or chicken pasta? What about the little square carrot cakes? Good stuff.

Air plane food, even in first class (although I have to admit it is years since I have flown first class) is horrendous, the only point in it's favour is at least you only have to eat it at high altitude where your sense of taste isn't as sensitive.

I get what you're saying. But in my personal experience, college students tend to be the most ignorantly snobby people around.

It's a winning combination common to us all, high snobbery combined with ignorance, arrogance combined with crushing insecurity. It's why we have so much fun.

It is progressively better, the nicer the cruise line and on certain nights. If you are accustomed to eating out in any big city you are going to think the food is horrible. I would say slightly above coach airline food, but not much.

So you've been on every Cruise Line have you? Great to know, can't imagine anyone generalizing to that degree without having done so ...

That's like saying that all restaurants 'suck'. There are cruises with great food, and there are cruises with mediocre food. Some lines focus on feeding the masses while others have michelin star chefs designing their menus.

Oh, I know. I was one, too.

Have you tried a Totino's party pizza? Heaven in a flimsy cardboard box for a buck ninety-nine.

Students tend to be afflicted by the plague of youth:Certainty ...
They tend to see everybody differing from them as beotians...
The problem is we used to be most likely like that and for some of us are still acting like that...

I just went on a cruise over spring break, and I wore white jeans and linen pants alot, aswell as khaki shorts. For tops I wore polo's and button ups. I couple times for dinner I wore a blazer with brass buttons and my white jeans. No one dresses well on cruises so it won't really matter. On our ship you weren't allowed to wear jeans for dinner in any of the dinning rooms, but people still wore cargo's.

The food really isn't that good. The presentation is nice, and they are really formal regarding the waiters, but in reality, I would rather have Olive Garden or any of the middle of the road restaurants.

Of course not, but the OP said that he was going on a Disney cruise. Anything on Disney, Carnival Royal Carribean is going to be horrible. 99% of people who take cruises will take this type of cruise. Of course I know there are cruises where you do pay 10x the amount you pay for Carnival, RC, Disney cruises and I expect that the food is 10x better.

Same thing with airline food, you don't need to fly all airlines to know that the food you get in coach generally sucks (no matter the airline). It gets a little better in business and is decent (in my experience in first class). As are most things in life, you get what you pay for.

I get excited about coach airline food, too. It's not the quality, it's the rarity. Having a hot meal served to you in coach on a domestic flight in the United States is the equivalent of having an Ivory-Billed Woodpecker crap on your windshield.
