Shopping in toronto

As an extension onto my last post........ can anyone suggest good places for poor students to get quality urban wear in Toronto? We're not that poor but tailored suits are out of range....... something like $100 (Canadian) jeans.

Urban wear? There's stuff all over the place. Try Winners (College/Yonge) there's always tons of inexpensive stuff there. Be prepared to spend at least an hour tihere, you'll have to pick through alot of chaff. Always lots of denim and hip hop type stuff there, but I've bought Diesel and DKNY jeans there before. Queen West is a little poseur but not bad either, should be in your price range (same with Urban Outfitters, south of Dundas on Yonge). There's a Harry Rosen outlet in Missisauga, and the Holt Renfrew outlet is in Thornhill. Still pricey but you can find a great inexpensive piece now and then. The summer sales are winding down right now (most of them are over) so if you're still looking, hurry. I've found the best bet is to think ahead and buy things when they go on sale. Never pay full price for anything. I don't know about you, but I never get enough pleasure out of an item that 50% off wouldn't make up for

good jeans ( or $100 jeans for that matter) in Winners are impossible to find - usually they are cheaper and kinda ugly, although once I bought pretty cool Edvin jeans there. Try Queen street.
