Cooking Crab in a tomato pasta sauce

Thread Starter
I am making a tomato pasta sauce centred around Shrimp however I also want to throw a crab in for good measure and taste. My local seafood store has whole crab which are blue in color.

Do I need to seperately cook the crab or can I let it simmer in the tomatoe sauce and will that do the job?

Advice Appreciated

You can let it cook in the sauce. Just add it towards the end, like the last 5-10 minutes, so it doesn't overcook and get tough.
