I would argue that they're also better designs, but then, I'm one of those Anglophiles..." First, I agree about some of the Vigotti styles I've seen -- they are not to my taste. The ones you posted the pic of are certainly not my style. I do like the Neal though. And, when it was on sale at Zappos for the mid 200s I did want it. But, not in my size. To give you an idea of what I like, I bought two pairs of Belvedere Tonos (black and dark brown) at Zappos when they were priced in the mid 200s. I am very pleased with them. I also bought a pair of Udines when they were around 300 and am also very pleased with them. I do find I prefer the ostrich skins. And I also bought a pair of Fabios when they were on sale. They have a little more flare and not so conservative looking as some of the Brit shoes. Having said what I have about Brits, I in no way hate them. In fact I love Tyrwhitt's shirts (herringbones especially) and just ordered a Lewin shirt. And, their laws did influence ours a great deal. I just am not all that moved by their more conservative styles of shoes. Yet, I do like some of the more conservative styles that To Boot NY carries at the Zappos site. Thanks, for your suggestion dah328. I'll take a look at those you mentioned at francos. I still might not find a style to my liking but who knows?
