sometimes it is god to watch guys who love to fight for the sake of fighting. They are hungry you know?

And BTW: Doth mine eyes deceive me? Twice in recent weeks ESPN will have a live championship bout with decent fighters in a respected boxing organization?

F*ck MMA.

Would ESPN have those fights if not for the decline in boxing PPV customers that MMA is at least partially responsible for?

I misheard there was no championship fight last night. The Klitschko fight was in Germany and at prime time there which didn't make it amenable to PPV here.

Not really too concerned about the fad of MMA on boxing's popularity here, considering boxing is just as popular (and even more than it has been) in the rest of the world.

Even if it was dying (it isn't) I'd much rather watch a sport than whatever MMA is.
