Jancis Robinson's Wine Course

Netflix it. Made in the early/mid 1990s, very British WASPy woman, who I swear is a Brit in drag. However, some good presentation of material. France gets a prominent role, but the US, Oz, Germany...she hits all the right places.

The single most interesting thing, through several episodes, are when she gets a French winemaker to taste a wine from the US. One guy wouldn't even spit it out on the floor, where he was spitting everything else, because it wasn't worthy enough to be spit there.

random bump, her videos are now on YouTube and are quite entertaining. The Sauv. Blanc episodes have some crazy (but funny people). And Diddier, RIP, what a character.
