the two pictures posted in the OP are different shoes.

the first ones look lame. Same exact shape as the achilles but with a shorter toebox....not digging that nor the green (green for ***** sake?)

the 2nd shoes posted look sweet.

they look identical to 10,000 types of bland white shoes produced by 10,000 other manufacturers. if you're going add shoes to your wardrobe, make them distinct, not commonplace.

They fit true to size however will feel sort of tight in the beginning.

This is the perfect shoe. I have the bone one:

I'm interested in all colors, even another pair of the bone, in 8.5.

Here's a 10.5 on eBay. A few more in the 9.5+ range on eBay.

man these are cool (the first pic not the garish halloween ones, although those are cool in thier own way lol)...What are the soles like? My regular Lavers have a slippy toe. I find Adidas Lavers to run 1/2 size small FWIW (I wear a 10 in the regular ones (green soles), 9.5 in purcells and vans)

I agree Adidas Rod Lavers are on the chunky side IRL but lool sleek in pics.

edit: just realized how old this thread is haha Im a noob

Wow, thanks. It looks identical actually. I just ordered off eBay (slightly cheaper), but I think next time I'll get it from J. Crew.

I still think the tournament edition, show in the first post, with plain leather sides instead of mesh, is the best and will try to buy a pair if they pop up on eBay.

Yeah, I snagged a pair last year (I think the pair you linked to, actually) and I love them, though I'm still on the lookout for the blue/bone ones. Those are killer.
