Sure, but the S65 bi-turbo V12 costs about 60% more than an S8.

And that extended chrome character line on the front spoiler is among the most beastly things ever to escape from Sindelfingen. This thing is Cayenne-spec ugly. Bruno Sacco, where have you gone?

The E is terrible, beyond terrible actually. G is great, I would love to have one as a daily. I'm curious what they do with the CLS. Hope it's nothing too sexy as I am not in the market right now to replace ours.

The new Hyundai killed this look for Benz.

But Audi also has the W12. I'm not a fan of Audi but I do admire the Audi A8 in the V10 and W12.

I`m surprised they decided to copy the Audi lamp design. Usually MB are the ones coming up with innovative lamp designs (which everyone else copies), but now it`s the other way around.

MB must have run out of ideas. This surprises me, too.

I don't know if it's fair to say MB copied Audi's LED headlights. LED headlights are new technology; Audi implemented them first. Is there another way MB could have implemented them without looking like what Audi did? It seems to me more a matter of technology and less a matter of style.

Like the interior changes, exterior is ok. Much better looking then the former generation, though some the details look tacked on. I prefer the A8L for my style, low key with a lot of bang for the buck.

My biggest criticism of the exterior design is that the rear doors cut into the rear pontoons. If they had to design the doors that way to be practical, they should not have made the pontoons smaller.

Otherwise, I think the exterior is great. The lines are powerful and economical--no scalloped amoeba headlights like everyone else is doing these days and which were on the old S-class.

Can someone describe what they changed? Other than headlights it looks about the same to me. Are the fenders wider or is it just the angle of the pic?

when will the BAPE model come out?

Must've come out of the same design shop as the 2010 Taurus.
