Why do they only make the driving shoes with fugly, square KC looking toes? I remember my first pairs actually looked good, but now they are sucks.

I dont know what your talking about. Their drivers are shaped pretty much like everyone elses. I like tods drivers. Their other assortment of shoes are another story...

I saw pics of the newer models (with the rubber sole not the nubs) that appear to look more like a soft chisel toe.

I like the squarish toe, even though I wouldn't want that shape on a dress shoe.

A friend just bought a nice pair with pretty normal toe shape for a driving loafer. Not square, but a curve that's slightly "squared off". Not sure what the rest of the range is like though.

I just ordered a pair of loafer and they had a chisel/square toe...I prefer that over the "bubbly" round looking toes.

No, there are three shapes for drivers, and everybody stocks the two ugly ones.

Yes, trips longer than 2-3 hours.

I wear the original Tods driver on any extended trips, and Pilotis when I used to race.
