Does anyone know of a good watch repair shop in the GTA?

I'm looking for someone who can hadle more antique watches. Stuff from the 30's and 40's.

I know this response is late; you probably got your watch fixed, and I'm just talking to myself now, but anyways...

I go to Primetime Watch service in New Century plaza which is on the north side of Steeles, just west of Warden.

It's in a small stall in this Chinese mall. It doesn't look like much, but the watch repair service is excellent. It's a one person operation, and the proprietor is very knowledgeable. He did all his training in Switzerland and he's been doing this for many years.

You could chat with him about watches for an hour. He also loves to show off the work he's doing. It's probably because he's bored by the usual mall walkers just looking to get a battery change.

I also think some jewelery stores in Toronto outsource their watch repairs to him. Otherwise it's mainly by referral.

You can expect to pay $350 for an overhaul of an automatic watch.
