Frette is very very nice. Still, I usually buy Christian Fischbacher. It's not on sale in Holland for as far as I know, and I don't like ordering through the internet.

1000 Thread count Kings from Frette will probably cost you $1200 for a set. Usually it's a good idea to buy 4 sets, so you can rotate them. That way they last a very long time.

I have Frette sheets and they're quite nice. Be warned that they have to be ironed. Also, there are special instructions to wash and dry them - wash in Ivory Snow, Dreft or special linen detergent in cold water and dry on the air dry setting only (which can take a long time).

Frette has some wonderful bed linens, but can get horrifically expensive for some of their top ends... especially their true 'linens'. If you want to go even crazier, Praetesi and Porthaut may do...

Fischbacher is similar to Frette in many ways, but i'd say that Frette is just a bit nicer. http://www.fischbacher.ch

I would disagree. I would compare them more to Bassetti. Their "Luxury Nights" line maybe similar to the more basic Frette.
