How many shirts do you own? - Page 19

Sean O'Flynn is one of biggest bespoke regrets.

I had an appointment with me to order 5 shirts and I didn't pull the trigger...

If Anna makes my 2 new double cuff shirts before I've worn out any others, I'll have 17!

My collection is running away with me!!!smile.gif

17 shirts total, only 9 of them in my regular rotation though. Quite a few of the other 8 I practically never wear, just haven't had the heart to get rid of them - yet. Still need quite a few more shirts to get by without constantly doing laundry.

Do you prefer rtw or bespoke?

Snap on the 17 shirts, although I don't rotate all of mine..but I'm sure I'll get to them all anyway.

Right now I'm living in AM and Charles Tyrwhitt shirts, sometimes TMLewin for a change, but I have other makers as well..

Which are your favourite?smile.gif

8 of my 9 rotation shirts are Luxire, so basically bespoke fit with the amount of adjustments I've done throughout the iterations. I tend to have trouble finding fitting RTW shirts as the sleeves and body tend to be too short. I don't think I'll find anything comparable in terms of quality either for the price, so don't see any reason to deviate from Luxire at the moment.

Next project will be to experiment with different collars and find the perfect one for me. Also want to try out a few more simple patterns as most of my rotation shirts for business are plain, mostly light blue and a couple of whites.

Most of mine are light blue as well, with a few white ones and a couple of light pink end on ends (one TMLewin, 1 AM!

Anna has my perfect pattern, but I alternate with rtw, which come up too big on me:)

Don't get rid of the others until you're sure that you don't want them ever again!

I regret getting rid of many of my old collection of 75, although 17 is a more reasonable rotation...

I wear my oldest shirts to bed as pyjama tops:)

:slayer:

With my recent spring/summer orders I'm going to hit 42, if I counted right. But like you, I rotate a subset of those based on season (both fabric weight and patterns/colors).

I tend to wear the same shirts all year round, but although I won't end up with as many as you two :-(, my parents are taking me clothes shopping on my birthday and I hope to bring home another 3, which would bring me up to 18.
I'll try to pick more summery styles and colours, so that there is more of a gap in my wardrobe between seasons...

My birthday is 19th April, so not long to wait now!

What if his parents are still alive? Do you have an issue with that?

How old do you think I am?????!!!!!

My mum is 68, fit as a fiddle and my registered professional Carer and a full time Genealogist

My Dad is 70, looks 55, works full time in the pharmaceutical business, works out at the gym, runs and goes to every game Arsenal FC play with my sister and niece, as well as keeping tropical fish and maintaining a large garden himself and home decorating!

How old do you think I am??

They met when my mum was 14, my dad 16, got married happily 4 years later, are still both fit, active and very much in love, and a good deal healthier than I am at 45(46 on 19th April)!

How do you think I get to my hospital appointments?!smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif
