CdG Parfums

Does anyone have experience with the recent CdG parfums? The whole collection I think with the exception of Series 6&7 is up on Tres Bien Shop, though a number of scents have already sold out. I am very strongly interested in a rose scent, and a dry, woody scent. After reading up on Luckyscent very briefly, I'm essentially between Red Series Rose, Incense Series Kyoto, and CdG x Monocle Hinoki, the latter two being woody, dry, lots of incense and a bit of coffee in Kyoto, lots of cypress and steam, less incense in Hinoki. If anyone has any other suggestions, I'm all ears. I'm trying to get into cologne right now but don't have much working knowledge. Currently I own John Varvatos Vintage and Classic, and the Marc Jacobs cologne from last year.

i've tried a handful of them. i like kyoto, but my the line that always keeps me coming back for more is Series 6: Skai. The descriptions make you a little nervous trying it out, but it is awesome. I am going to buy a bottle of that soon along with other decants.

Kyoto is amazing. I highly recommend it. I like Avignon too. It's worth getting samples of the entire incense line if you can and seeing what works for you. Unfortunately decants are a lot harder to come by than they were a few years ago.
