Both sound great

Best Chef Midwest was Tim McKee of La Belle Vie, in Minneapolis. Surprised it wasn't a Chicago chef.
Best Professional Cooking book was Alinea's cookbook
Best Chef Pacific was Douglas Keane of Cyrus.
