I sized down 1/2 size from typical US. These Redline shoes are "F" fitting, does that mean an "E" width in the standard US jargon?

are you an 8.5 UK by any chance?

I did indeed order two pairs of 8.5 UK, walnut suede penny loafer and the snuff suede half brogue.

They are not that wide and that off for me to consider selling them though

I'll just wear thicker socks

I believe the F fitting is equivalent to a US D.

The suede chukkas are fine...maybe slightly big. But I can lace them tighter or wear thicker socks.

Sounds great. I have a low instep, so these may work fine for me.

What's up with all the size 9s around here!?

Got mine today.

Brown suede monk
Brown suede loafers

Had two other pairs that were sold out before they got to my order.

I wear 13 in Peals and 12 in most UK shoes.

I ordered the 12 and the fit is perfect. The loafers just slightly snug.

Hope others have the same luck, and thanks so much for the PSA.

I have found the UK size E translates to a US size D. Have never tried a UK F - just assumed that was closer to a US E

If these are Sargents, then F = UK E = US D, more or less. By that I mean it's the standard fitting.

Got mine today -- ordered late EST on the 7th, shipped on the 8th, arrived on the 10th by USPS. I have long wanted a tobacco suede boot with a rubber sole and with the TRL "Desert Boot" I got one w/ dainite. Wore it for about eight hours today. They are elongated a bit, sleek looking but not long since they are more narrow than wide in the toe, and wide at the ankle. Typical English shoe I think. Since the instep fit is about all that matters with a boot, these are going to work for me. This 10 1/2 UK fits my foot only slightly bigger, in length and toebox, than the 10 1/2 US Peal boots (AS 87F); I definitely got the right size. Thanks to the OP and thanks to TRL.

Did you look in the enclosed envelope?

I'm fairly sure I checked everything that came in the box, though I wasn't looking specifically at the time. I'll check again when I get home from the Easter trip.

I bought three shirts, one a tuxedo shirt. I'll let you all know how they are when they arrive.
