Seriously, all the sketches in the second half of that show seem like something the panicked writers had to throw together hastily after the show had already started. I've been more or less a fan of SNL through all the years where 80% of people said it sucked (but watched anyway.) This season is leading me to believe they might be right this time. The sketch where they had the boombox playing "You're the one that I want" might have been one of the most embarassingly bad things I've ever seen on TV. Darrell Hammond almost looked apologetic at the end.
