I think you can get Frette cheap on Bluefly. I have Pratesi that I got from the store on Rush in Chicago. It is great but I don't think you really need to pay that much.

Thanks!
Bluefly seems a bit expensive.
I am going to stick to Ebay and Overstock.

Oddly, I am seeing 5-pc DUVET sets priced about the same as 11-pc COMFORTER sets.
Might as well get the latter, b/c you get a shitload more items (shams, sheets, etc) for a few more bucks,

Bump.

Where are you guys finding decent bedding sets, particularly duvet covers? I've looked at pretty much everywhere I could think of, without finding anything I like: Bluefly, NeimanMarcus, Nordstrom, Macys, Bed Bath & Beyond, JCPenney, Target, Overstock, Amazon, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, West Elm...

Where am I missing that I can find some duvet covers for a bachelor's apartment that aren't ridiculous gaudy, solid white or pastel? I've been looking for weeks.

If it helps, I'm in Boston. Maybe there are some local places I haven't discovered yet.

I've been enjoying linoto sheets in oatmeal. They have duvet covers.

Macy's online used to have a HUGE collection, Usually 50-60% off. Look under clearance.
Give them a try.
May want to try overstock.com of course returns can be a pain.
